For 2015, July 4th falls on many employee’s regularly scheduled day off (Saturday), therefore the time is granted as a Floating Legal Holiday. Floating legal holiday time can be used any time during the calendar year it’s earned for. With supervisor approval, employees may use this day as an additional day off at their discretion.
