|Event OverviewCurrent’s 7th Annual Leaders LuncheonCurrent’s annual Leaders Luncheon brings together community leaders and young professionals in a celebration of programming accomplishments from the past year. Invited community leaders are placed at each table to allow an opportunity for young professionals to meet and interact with those who have significantly more leadership experience. |About the Speaker
Brown CountyStreckenbach, is a lifelong resident of Brown County. He grew up in the Green Bay area and attended Premontre High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and earned a degree in international studies with an emphasis in business and political science.Streckenbach has owned and operated six businesses in Brown County for the past 12 years. In 2006, he was recognized by the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce as one of the “25 People You Should Know”, in 2007, as Current young professionals Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2009 as one of the “40 People under 40 You Should Know” by the Chamber.Streckenbach is bringing a fresh approach to Brown County government. His background as a businessman gives him the strong management skills and fiscal discipline with which he effectively governs Brown County.
Streckenbach is currently a board member and mentor of the Junior Achievement of Brown County. He is a past president of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s Group Purchasing Committee Board, a member of Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, a member of Current, a member of Wisconsin Tavern League, founding member of Allouez Business Association, a member of the economic development committee, chair of the Village of Allouez, member of the Downtown Green Bay, Inc. board of directors, and a member of the CEO Roundtable of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
