Today the RA/CA spotlight is shining on Jenelle Juedes, a Community Advisor for phase two. Jenelle is a History major with a minor in teaching English as a second language. In her free time, Jenelle enjoys reading, shopping, befriending stray animals and hanging out with friends.

Jenelle was a Resident Assistant for two years and this is her first year as a Community Advisor. Her favorite part of being a CA is working with the RAs and seeing them grow as leaders. Jenelle has had some really unique RA experiences and counts them as her biggest accomplishments. “My biggest accomplishment as an RA was getting accepted in the RA National Student Exchange program at California State University Chico.” Jenelle said. “I loved getting to live in California and experiencing another University for a year without having to give up being an RA.”   Being an RA/CA has taught Jenelle a lot about time management. “I plan out everything I need to get done in the day or the week and I am able to complete everything on time.” Jenelle said.

Jenelle had nothing but positive things to say about her time as an RA and now as a CA. “I can’t pick a favorite memory, I have way too many.” Jenelle said. “Being an RA and also a CA is one of the best decisions I made during my college career. I’ve made a ton of friends, grown as a person and have acquired a passel of life skills.”

Thanks Jenelle for everything you do!
