Today the RA/CA spotlight is shining on Zak Lenski, a Resident Assistant for Byron Walter Hall. His friends call him Zak and he is a history major. In his free time, Zak likes to play volleyball, workout, and watch documentaries.

This is Zak’s second year as an RA. When asked what his favorite part of the job was, he said “move in day, when I get to meet parents and meet all the new freshmen in my building.” Zak said that overall being an RA has taught him that getting involved on campus makes everything much more fun. Zak said one accomplishment that he is proud of is that last year his residents put together a new organization on campus that is now the school cheering section for all UWGB athletics.

“It might sound weird,” said Zak in regards to his favorite RA memory, “But move out day last year. I had residents crying they were sad to leave, so I knew I did my job. They loved being in the building and loved the people they met during activities and programs.”

Thanks for sharing, Zak! Thanks for all your hard work and good luck this year!
