This week’s spotlight is on Robert Sewell Jr. or Rob for short.  Rob is a human biology major with a minor in health science. In his free time, Rob likes to walk on the arboretum trails, go longboarding, read non-fiction books, and also football and fishing.

Rob credits his biggest academic year accomplishment to being elected president of the Black Student Union on campus. Rob said that his biggest accomplishment as a SHA is mastering the mailroom.

This is Rob’s first summer as a SHA and his favorite part of being a SHA so far is the customer service and general business setting. Rob said, “I like that you have flexibility with hours, I like that you get to work with customers one on one. I like that the staff assigns projects [to me], which shows that they can count on [me].”  The biggest thing being a SHA has taught Rob as a leader is how to be patient and organized better communication skills, and a general positive attitude.

Best of luck to Rob and thanks for all the work you will be doing this summer!
