Speaker/Comedian: Elaine Williams-Emotional Eating February 8, 8pm, Christie Theatre Williams is a certified life coach, and an eating disorder survivor. She started her first diet when she was six years old; and was binging, purging, and abusing laxatives by the time she was 12. She spent years obsessing about food, exercise, and her weight. After finally putting down the laxatives and other drugs, Elaine had to uncover the underlying reasons WHY she abused herself and ate when she was not hungry. Elaine shares her insight into why so many young adults struggle with emotional eating when dealing with

the pressures of college life. Come hear Elaine’s inspiring and humorous story, receive resources for further education and support, and ask any questions you may have. Elaine’s highly energetic lecture is as engaging as it is educational.
