The Human Resources Office will use its website to draw attention to volunteer opportunities on campus and in the community. The website might also emphasize state pay-status and work-hours flexibilities already in place for such activities as voting, jury duty, disaster relief, blood or organ donation, military service and professional development.

Celebrate service to community with all-campus charitable drives

The University will renew its commitment to acknowledging and supporting initiatives as they arise. A good example was the Registrar’s Office and its food drive in December 2009, with individuals volunteering their personal time and resources to pull it off.
