Student Death

Dear Colleagues,
I have additional sad news to share with you today.
A student died on campus shortly after noon today (Wednesday, Aug. 12). Investigators believe the young man’s death was a suicide. The student’s name was being withheld pending notification of the family by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s office.

We have received word from the Cofrin family of the passing of Dr. David A. Cofrin. He died Tuesday (Aug. 11) in Gainesville, Fla. He was 85.
