New chancellor helps sound tribute to Weidner, campus carillon

In his first formal event as UW-Green Bay’s new chancellor, Dr. Tom Harden helped dedicate a new bell tower — the Weidner Carillon — in memory of the University’s founding chancellor, Edward Weidner. Music from the carillon will greet students for the first time in fall of 2009. University officials expect the carillon to become a treasured part of campus tradition.
