Grading Instructors

Learning about rubrics and how they’ll be used to assign grades can be dry, boring and confusing for students. Grading your instructor on the other hand, can be a pleasurable way to spend your first lecture.

Marnie Bullock Dresser introduced this concept in a post on her blog – marniere – even going as far as to include her rubric and disclose her grade. Discussing expectations and prompting self-reflection is key in those first weeks of class and this is a fun way of practicing what you preach.
