Workshop: STEMM Advising
STEMM Advising: The Need to Fill Mission-Critical Positions in the Federal Government
Monday, November 5, 2012
1:00pm – 2:00pm
Mary Ann Cofrin Hall, Room 137
The public sector is an ideal place to recommend to students and job seekers who want to make a difference. Specifically, the government will continue to have a significant need for those in science, technology, engineering, math, medical and public health (STEMM) careers.
In this interactive session, Partnership staff and agency representatives will provide you with information about the real, job-based benefits of federal STEMM careers that you can then leverage to advise students. We will also discuss the importance of these fields of study as they relate to the government’s ability to fulfill mission critical positions in the coming months, years, and decades.
Prior sign-up not required.
