Volunteers Needed – Brown County MS Walk
Join the fun by volunteering for Walk MS on Sunday April 22nd at West De Pere High School! Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks including:
• Set-Up – setting up tables and chairs, hanging banners and signage
• Registration – check in walkers and collect pledge envelopes
• Greeters – direct walkers to appropriate areas and answer questions as needed
• Volunteer Check-In – check in all registered volunteers and distribute T-shirts
• Breakfast/Lunch – set-up, serve and clean-up
• Route Support (SAG) Drivers – support walkers, transport walkers and supplies
• Ham Radio Operator – provide communication from check points
• Rest Stop – set-up and re-stock supplies
• Traffic Control – keep traffic moving, direct cars to parking spaces
• Photography – team photos, start & finish, festival photos
• Professionals – massage therapists, face-painters, entertainment
• Medic Support – provide medical support as needed
• Spirit at Milestones – cheer walkers at mile markers
• Take Down – help clean up the site, pack supplies, etc.
If you can’t make it the day of the walk, help spread the word on Walk MS in your own community by passing out posters and brochures.
