iPat Environmental Film Series: Sun Come Up
Monday, October 1st at 7pm
in the Christie Theatre
Join us for the showing of Sun Come Up , an Academy Award nominated film that shows the human face of climate change. The film follows the relocation of the Carteret Islanders, a community living on a remote island chain in the South Pacific Ocean, and now, some of the world’s first environmental refugees.
The film will be followed by commentary from a local expert panel along with a q+a session with the audience.
This is part of the iPat Environmental Film Series (impact = population*affluence*technology) sponsored by PEAC, Department of Public & Environmental Affairs and the Center for Public Affairs.
