GOOD NEWS! Simulator activity rescheduled for next week!
Impaired and distracted driving simulator will be on campus
Wednesday, September 19, 11:00 – 2:00 (DUI); 2:00 – 5:00(texting)
Go for a “virtual drive” in this computerized vehicle designed to show the
dangers for driving while under the influence of alcohol or while texting. The
DUI Simulator is an actual vehicle that provides the driver with a virtual
impaired driving experience. Panoramic views of a digital road are
presented via a head-mounted display unit. Data received from the
wheels of the car renders the virtual experience in real time.
