Understanding Students Through Student Development Theory
1-1:50 Breakout Session 1, Academic Staff Conference Jan. 21, 2010
Room: 1965 Room
Students come to college young, undeveloped leaders and grow developmentally through their college career. Knowing how that change happens is important for those who work with college students as we can help them along their path of self-actualization. This program will also help you understand the stages of growth a traditional college student goes through so you know what is to be expected from them. Come and find out about a few different student development theories and how to use them with students you work for and work with.
