His program features a study of the characteristics of leaders past and present, and how a person can improve his or her leadership ability. Numerous anecdotes and historical references are used to illustrate the importance of making sound decisions when faced with challenging situations. Bill emphasizes the value of effective communication and teamwork in keeping the work environment positive and productive. Students come to college young, undeveloped leaders and grow developmentally through their college career.  Knowing how that change happens is important for those who work with college students as we can help them along their path of self-actualization.  This program will also help you understand the stages of growth a traditional college student goes through so you know what is to be expected from them.  Come and find out about a few different student development theories and how to use them with students you work for and work with.

Kline just wrapped up his his twenty-fourth season as head coach of the Phoenix men’s and women’s cross country programs. He graduated from UW-Green Bay in 1988 with a triple major in philosophy, psychology and human development.

Justin Pollnow is UW-Green Bay’s Assistant Athletic Director; in charge of compliance, eligibility, and student services for our student-athletes.
