360° Thursdays - Music from every angle at 6:30

360° Thursdays — Music from every angle at 6:30

UW-Green Bay Music announces an innovative concert series designed to help you connect with music in more meaningful ways. Performances will feature scintillating and provocative discussions by a composer, performer or arranger. Together, you will consider a single aspect of the music through multiple perspectives. Diverse styles will be performed to broaden your horizons and deepen your understanding.

All events in the series are held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Fort Howard Hall, Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is free, donations are appreciated.

Celebrate Cabaret Sassy Sweepstakes - Enter to Win

Celebrate the opening of Cabaret by entering the Cabaret Sweepstakes on Facebook. Participants could win free MP3 downloads, an entire MP3 album, and two tickets to Cabaret on Friday, April 20, along with a Cabaret backstage pass. The grand prize includes dinner for four along with four tickets to see the show on Saturday, April 21.

In order to legally comply with Facebook policy, a promotion must be conducted via a third party application. In the case of the Cabaret Sweepstakes, we chose to use woobox.com. Discover Cabaret from page to stage as Director Laura Riddle presents a behind-the-scenes look at the production of this award-winning musical, in the Fort Howard Hall theater at the Weidner Center immediately following the 7:30 p.m. show on Friday, April 20.

Cabaret, UW-Green BayUW-Green Bay students are taking on Broadway with the spring production of Cabaret. The April 20 and 21 performances mark the first time a student production has performed on the Weidner Center stage in more than a decade. Set in the seedy Kit Kat Klub in 1930 Berlin, Cabaret is a musical that will highlight the best of UW-Green Bay Theater and Music. Set in the seedy Kit Kat Klub in 1930 Berlin, Cabaret premiered on Broadway in 1966, sweeping the Tony Awards. Cabaret has become a classic of American Musical Theatre featuring a brilliant and memorable score by Kander and Ebb who later collaborated on the musical Chicago.

Jan. 20 – Comedian Frank Caliendo
Frank Caliendo is known for his live stand-up comedy act and countless uncanny voice and physical impersonations.  His most well-known impressions include those of George W.
