Save the Date: UWGB Alumni Central European choir trip, June 16-30, 2020

Central Europe has blossomed into a vibrant and fascinating place to visit in the post-communist era. Please join Dr. Sarah Meredith, UW-Green Bay professor of Music/Mezzosoprano and international traveler, on a once in a lifetime trip to visit and perform in an alumni choir in 3 unique European cities. Each of them depict different cultures and ways of life; charming Bydgoszcz in Poland, spa village, Karlovy Vary in Czech Republic, and historical, magnificent Prague in Czech Republic from June 16-June 30, 2020. Everyone is welcome (including spouses and partners) but the requirements to perform in the choir are either a live audition with Prof. Meredith OR a 3-4 minute recording of your singing, at least 1 year of previous choral experience (ability to read music), and ability to commit to, and prepare the selected musical selections before rehearsals. The choir will be conducted by UWGB music alumni Dr. Dean Luethi ’98, accompanied by pianist Janet Osterberg Anderson ’94 & ’07.
