Join us at Trout Springs Winery – Canceled

From 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 24, your Alumni Association welcomes you to Trout Springs Winery for an evening of wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, tours of the winery, and music by members of the Dave Steffen Band. The Alumni Association is looking for volunteers to help with a Welcome Back Cookout for our students. The event will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, outside the Ecumenical Center. It’s a great way to introduce students to the Alumni Association. Nearly 1,200 alumni, representing every class and area of study, pledged more than $74,000 to the Founders Association Alumni Annual Fund. Student scholarships and academic programming are the beneficiaries. One of the University’s longest-standing traditions, the Bill Laatsch Wine and Cheese Classic is back. From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Shorewood Golf Course on campus. Complimentary wine and cheese, door prizes and, of course, photos with the Big Mouse. All alumni and friends are welcome.

Healthcare in the Coulee Region at the UW-La Crosse Campus

Health Science Center, 1300 Badger Street, Suite 3065. Learn about cutting edge technology and programs that prepare future healthcare professional in Western Wisconsin. The event will take place Thursday, November 13 with a 5:30 p.m. cash bar and hors d’oeuvres social; 6 p.m. welcome and tours/exhibits. Cost is $10 per person.
