The Writing Center

October 16, 2013

The Writing Center is a neat, efficient, and free way to get your papers edited. The staff is there to help guide you in your writing by pointing out unclear ideas and grammatical errors. Of course, they only make suggestions to your writing so that you retain authorship. It is up to you whether or not to take their advice. To make an appointment, simply call or go to the Tutoring and Learning Center and ask for a date and time.  The Tutoring and Learning Center is open between 9am and 6pm Monday through Thursday, and 9am and 2pm on Friday. If you do not know where to go, walk past the Garden Café, past the gender neutral bathrooms and take the first left, or if you want to make it easier, simply call their number (920-465-2958.) Then, when it is time for your appointment, go to the Writing Center (Cofrin Library 109, on the right side of the hallway across from Cofrin Library) and give the tutor a copy of your paper and tell them the topic or question. They will help you make corrections.
