“Smile Be KaNisha, M.T Flemming, age 22, of Chilton, died on January 12, 2014 following a short battle with Leukemia. KaNisha was a senior at University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, where she was scheduled to graduate this May. She lit up a room with her warm, tender smile and showed so much love to her family and friends. She went out of her way to cheer people up; the world was a better place because of the living presence of KaNisha.”
This benefit is being held to help financially support her family with funeral costs, medical bills, and any other bills associated with her passing. The Psychology and Human Development departments of UW-Green Bay are putting together a scholarship in KaNisha Flemming’s name, and funds from this benefit will be put toward the scholarship as well.
There will be an Italian dinner, silent auction, and raffle. If you would like to go, the event takes place on May 3rd, 2014 from 3pm-7pm in the Richard Mauthe Center on campus. Adult tickets are $10, student tickets are $7, and tickets for those 12 and under are $5.
